Little Miss Sunshine!

I just wanted to share why I am going to be in soooo much trouble when Desirae gets older.

She is gorgeous (I am a big fan of course) and she is only 6!!! Although I am sure she won't get a date until she is 18 because she has 2 big bros and all their friends who already look out for her. WooHoo!

Cub Scout Camping

This past weekend we went to a cub scout camp. Its held here locally and it is a lot of fun. Some events can only be done at an official BSA camp (BB guns and archery) so they really enjoy it.

Blake has done BB guns and archery at other camps before. The first time he did BBs he was very nervous almost to the point of tears. He didn't want to hurt himself or anyone else. Which is awesome. But now that he has learned how to handle them safely so he enjoys it. They score archery and their den won second place.

Some of the events are timed and the den with the fastest time wins a ribbon. They had to do 4 different knots. Blake did one of them. The boys did really good.

Here is the obstacle course. They also had to run some tires, get over a wall, low crawl under some ropes and crawl through a tire tunnel.

Then the boys got to fly a black hawk. Nooooo not really. But they had one land there and the boys got to check it out. Needless to say it was a big dust storm when it came in and I just turned my face away and tried to hold up my camera and take pics. It didn't work but my friend (thanks Lisa) was able to get this totally cool pic.
