The Dog Days of Summer!

Just as we are hot in the summer so are the dogs. This is how the dogs get exercise and stay cool in Arizona.

Doc (the yellow lab) and Lady (the black lab) like to swim with the kids.
Lady is lazy and doesn't like to jump. She just walks into the pool. Doc likes to jump, the higher and the father the more he likes it.

Summer break!

Summer is different in Arizona. Of course we are very hot therefore we spend most of our time indoors or in the pool. Where most places everyone is outdoors enjoying the great weather. We do that in the winter. So, keeping the kids entertained is a little more difficult. I can't just say go outside and play.

Video games and movies are a must.

Family

I know, I have been a bad blogger. Sometimes it just gets sooo crazy...

One of our lovely nieces, Brittani, got married on May 1st. So, we had lots of family here. I have many pics that are all wonderful but I can't post them all. So, here are just a few...

Aunt Deborah, Jeff's sister, is helping Blake with a school project. She is much craftier then I am. Of course most people are but she really is good.

Here is the lovely niece herself and the lovely flower girl. Brittani and Desirae are just gorgeous.The groom now hubby, Jorge, is all thumbs up.

It was a success! Kirk never once stepped on Brittani's foot.

Carol, Jeff's bro's (John) wife, is doing a great job cutting the cake. Almost all of the cake made it on the plates.

Nap time for Desirae and Aunt Carol. The recliner is sooo relaxing.
