Fun with Science

On Desirae's birthday we went to the AZ Science Center. They have a lego exhibit going on. It was lots of fun. Not to mention all the other things they have there. They have a great weather show and lots of hands on things to try. They show how many science theories work. The kids go from one spot to the next trying everything.
Yes, the dragon is made out of legos. I was tempted to take just one lego out and see what happened.

One of the other exhibits was the sky cycle. It was on a cable one floor up with a net underneath (of course). It showed with a correct placement of the center of gravity you could ride a bike on a "tightrope". Not everyone could try it because you had to be a certain height to be able to reach the petals. Also some weren't real happy with being one flight up. Here is Travis concentrating real hard.

Bailey theory is the faster you petal the less it moves side to side.
Desirae is jousting with great determination.
Desirae is the Queen (it was her birthday of course) and Zach is the Dragon.
The whole royal bunch of them. Ryan, Blake and David are the dragons. Travis and Zach are the knights and Desirae is the Queen. Kirk is the 13 year old being cool. Btw the stain glass window behind them is made out of legos also.
